Are the items in your store new? Yes and No. A handful of the items in our inventory are never used, never owned pieces. However, most of our items are vintage or antique finds. We take pride in making them “like-new” or close to their original condition.

What is the condition of the items in your store? The condition of each item is specified in that individual items description. It is very important to read the item description, as many antiques have noticeable wear due to age and use. Anthony Baratta aims to deal in complete honesty when presenting an items condition.

    Orders, Shipping, and Returns

What shipping options do you provide? Items other than furniture are shipped via UPS or FedEx ground. When shipping larger items we prefer to use White Glove delivery services. To receive a White Glove shipping quote please email theshop@anthonybaratta.com . Additionally customers may opt for free pickup from our store or warehouse in Westhampton Beach, NY.

Can I arrange my own shipping? Absolutely! If you would like to purchase an item, but arrange shipping on your own, simply email theshop@anthonybaratta.com or call 212-966-8892 to place an over the phone order.

What shipping carriers do you use? We ship most orders via FedEx or UPS. Most of our furniture items will be delivered inside your home by White Glove Delivery service providers, who will carefully unpack and inspect each item, place it in your room of choice, and provide assembly. For added convenience, all packing materials will be removed. White Glove Delivery service includes a call from our delivery carrier to schedule delivery to your home. We ask that you inspect your delivery upon its arrival, and provide a signature upon receipt. From where is my item being shipped? Inventory is shipped from our store in Westhampton Beach, NY or from our Manhattan office.

Can I pick up my item instead of paying for shipping? Of course! To arrange pickup of your item simply choose the “Store Pickup” icon when checking out and you will be contacted via the email provided about your pickup options.

How do you calculate your shipping and handling charges? Shipping charges are calculated via a UPS Shipping Calculator. The dimensions and weight of an item determine the cost it is to ship.

Can I place my order of over the phone? Yes! Phone orders can be made by calling 212-966-8892 Monday-Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Can I return/cancel my order? All orders cancelled after 48 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee whether or not your order has shipped. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order. Anthony Baratta LLC has specified items that are eligible for return in the description of each item. If an item is marked “NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN” in the item description it is also not eligible for order cancellation after payment has been processed.

How will I know that you have received my order? Once your order has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email.

Can I ship to an address other than my billing address? Yes you can! During checkout you can specify if your shipping address is different than your billing address.

Can I put an item on hold? Anthony Baratta will put an item on hold for 24 hrs. You may only put an item on hold once. After 24 hours the item will be released.

Do you ship internationally? Yes. The customer is responsible for all tax and duty fees.

What forms of payment do you accept? Visa, Amex, MasterCard and Discover.

Why are orders shipped to some states taxed? Anthony Baratta is a New York based company. Our physical presence in this state requires us to collect New York State Tax. State laws require sales tax to be collected according to the address where the merchandise is shipped.

Is my credit card information secure? Yes, we encrypt all credit card information during transmission and storage, so that data is private and secure.

Can I pay over the phone? Yes. To make purchases over the phone simply call 212-966-8892 between 9:00am to 6:00pm, Monday thru Friday..
